Delivery Information


We deliver nationwide, either on our own local deliver vans or via courier. Our van delivery service covers Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Loughborough, Burton on Trent, Sheffield, and Chesterfield.

Areas outside of those listed below will be covered via our courier. All items, including both frozen and non frozen goods (orders can also be a mixture of both) can be shipped via the above methods.

There is no minimum order on the van deliveries. HOWEVER ALL ORDERS MUST BE PLACED BY 12PM (noon) FOR THE FOLLOWING DELIVERY DAY.

Here, at Lavender Dog Shop, we believe in helping you out and will try our best to make sure ordering your food as easy as possible. When ordering your items please let us know if you have any special delivery information using the comments section – we will do our absolute best to accommodate these! Please also let us know if your pet has any food allergies or special requirements in case we need to substitute any items.



Nationwide Courier Service

Minimum Order 6kg of frozen items!

You can also make use of our nationwide 1-2 day courier service. This service is ideal for those customers who liver a little further afield, or those who may be on holiday in different areas. We will aim for next day delivery where possible. Orders must be placed Monday-Wednesday. Orders placed before 12pm will be sent out that day where possible. Any orders placed on Thursday will be sent out the following Monday. Please note Parcelforce may require a signature for delivery. 

Important Information:

  • Please note that we are unable to receive/ send out orders over bank holidays.

  • During exceptionally hot weather, we reserve the right to cancel your order. This is to ensure products arrive to you safely, therefore we will only send orders out when we are sure they will arrive in a quality state.

  • We reserve the right to cancel your order if the items are out of stock and suitable substitutes cannot be found.

  • Unfortunately this service is only available for frozen goods that are over 6kg in weight. Our online system will automatically cancel orders below this amount and you will be refunded.

  • At this time we are only able to offer this courier service to UK Mainland.

  • Frozen orders for courier will be packed in the appropriate packaging (included in the delivery fee) to ensure you items stay at a safe temperature.

Up to 19.5kg (minimum of 6kg if frozen items) - £9

Up to 29.5kg - £12.50

Up to 59.5kg - £16.50

What time will my order arrive?

We aim to deliver your local order between 10am and 4pm.

My order is incorrect, what can I do?

On the rare occasions you are not satisfied with your order please contact us on 01773 461569. Please note that occasionally we may have to substitute items if our requested product is not available.


I have placed an order, but I want to add to it?

Unfortunately we are unable to edit orders, however, you are welcome to place another order. All we ask is that you make a note of this within your order comments so we put your two orders together.

I have placed an order for collection on Saturday, can I come a different day?

Due to the current pandemic, we can only take orders for click & collect on Saturdays. Please only select this day if you are able to come. Unfortunately, we do not have the freezer space to keep saving items. 

My dog has allergies, I do not want certain meats?

No problem, please make a note of this in the comments section before you checkout your order.

I will not be in for my delivery. What happens?

If you will not be in to receive your order please ensure you state your alternative delivery instructions clearly in the comments section. We cannot take items back to the depot due to temperature controlling regulation of items. If you provide an alternative delivery option, e.g. ‘leave at back door’ we cannot be held responsible once this item is delivered.


My courier frozen parcel has been delayed, is it still safe?

On occasion, parcels may be delayed. However, all parcels are packaged in thermal boxes with ice packs, where needed, to keep items safe. Frozen pet items are safe to feed and refreeze, providing they are cool on arrival. 

What is your refund/ returns policy?

If you are at all unsatisfied with your products, please get in touch with us as soon as possible. Issues with deliveries must be raised within 24 hours. We will do our very best to resolve the issue efficiently. Raw foods are exempt from the right to cancel under Distance Selling Regulations. If parcels are refused and returned by customers on arrival, you will not be issued a refund if the items have not been checked first. 

If you would like a refund, you must return the goods within 14 days of purchase. You will be responsible for return shipping costs and good must be packaged in original packaging and protected against damage. This policy does not affect your right e.g. if items are defective.
